Kids love Sleeping Beauty Castle and sometime you get to meet other characters here.
The Castle was of course based on Neuschwantein Castle in Germany
But that Castle did not have a DRAGON in a cave below it like
the one in Sleeping Beauty Castle.

Space Mountain Mission 2
Basically a Rollercoaster ride this is a little smaller than similar rides at other Disney Theme Parks.
You ride in a Rocket (part of a train) and this ride has lots of ideas from Jules Verne (so its a bit of a retro feeling space-wise)
Its faster than other Space Mountains and is the only one to include inversions.
The ride is themed as the Journey from Earth to the Moon.
Its exciting but may scare small children as there is a free-fall section and part of the ride is in the dark.
Orbitron -Astro Orbiter - a Rocket Ride with rockets spinning around a Huge Rocket.
Autopia - a Car Diving experience where you drive a car on an enclosed track - great for kids who want to drive.
Star Tours You are a Space Tourist in this Star Wars Simulation on the way to Endor
Its good fun with audio-animatronic character talking to you on the way in.
When in your seat, the Droid Pilot starts off (and I think he had too much WD-40 or heavy grade oil)
Anyway the ride gets pretty exciting and there are lots of Star Wars scenes and moment - great for any Star Wars fan !

Attraction with a whole collection of high end video games for you to play.
(a lot more advanced than your local video arcade..)

Your Guide to Fake Disney Pins
Disney Pins are really collectable .
People make Big Money selling Fake Disney Pins.
Thats why they do it.
European and American unscrupulous vendors buy big lots of pins from companies in China and Hong Kong
in big batches and then split them up and sell them at auction sites round the world..
A Danger Sign is anyone offering 10 or more of the same pin
(you can check ebay easily usng the advanced search
and completed listings option. Other companies are harder to check their listings )
Fakes are nearly always auctioned on ebay as real Disney Pins.
Its hard to tell a fake.
Where do they come from ?
Fake Pins mostly come out of the back door of the factories that make pins for Disney !
The employees run on a hundred or so in their lunch break or after work.
Disney work hard to stop this and have security procedures.
If a company is caught doing this themselves then Disney drop them as a supplier.
These pins almost always come from China originally.
There are sales outlets in Hong Kong.
I will not tell you how to find them - but Hong Kong Police are always looking for them.
How to tell Fake Disney Pins ?
Always check for the DISNEY STAMP on the back of the pin.
Most fakes do not have that but they are made from the real moulds.
What are the most Faked pins ?
The most expensive ones of course...
Criminals are not likely to fake common pins when they can make 10 times as much money from rare pins.
The main problem is the pins that are NOT made in the factories that work for Disney .These are more Dangerous.Basicaly what the makers do is to buy a REAL Disney rare pin and make a mould from it.
All the pins made from that mould will of course have the same number.
If you suspect a forgery then ask the vendor for the pin number.

95 percent of the vendors on eBay sell real Disney Pins.
We are proud to offer their pins.
Regrettably there do exist both fake,unreal and copy pins.
Cast Lanyard Pins are favourites for the fakers.
Other rare pins - the so-called Holy Grail Pins are prone to be copied.
Limited Editions MUST have the edition number on the back of the pin.
After all if comeone is faking then they will do it for the most money - that is only logical.
If they can make 5 times as much money then they will.
Copy Pins - these are the most dangerous as they are made in China using the original Disney Mouldsand are usually of very desirable cast members and limited editions.
In Pin Collecting terms these are called Scrapper Pins .
Disney are working hard on trying to stop this practice.
Disney Scrappers are harder to spot. as these are made from the original moulds.
This is because the maker or the foreman runs off a thousand or so for himself after hours - or after the contract is finished.
Before bidding for a rare pin check the vendors items sold using the auctions completed section.
As fakes are usually sold in batches of 50 or more they will try to move them quickly
to recoup their investment.
It is unlikely that a real pin vendor will have 5 or more of the same rare pin for sale...
Fake Disney Pins are hard to tell from originals.
The plus side is that Disney Quality control is very strict and real pins will not have
scratches,chips,paint overflowing edges,badly fitted pins on the back or rough edges.
Any pin that looks like that is suspect.
There ARE Fake Disney Pins around - some of these feature Tinker Bell, Cinderella or Jessica Rabbit
sometimes in quite shocking naughty poses.
Although there are pins from oher companies like MacDoalds and Coca-Cola, even these are being faked.
Some rather nasty fakes are of Breast Awareness logos and other charity pins that have Disney Characters.
Disney has not issued a Breast Awareness pin to my knowledge.
There is a third category of pins that might make you suspicious -
Fan Pins - some Disney Fan Clubs have produced their own pins and these have totally different designs from Disney Pins.
The Mouse Club is a good example and they have their own pins.These are of course quite legitimate.

They have illustrations of real and fake pins and a list of unauthorised Disney-ish pins
Always visit them before buying expensive pins please.

If you have bought pins on eBay using Paypal (ALWAYS use Paypal !)
then you should first email the vendor explaining politely why the pin is a fake and ask for a refund including postage (why should you suffer the cost of postage for a fake ?)
If you have not had a reply withing 5 days then eBay have a dispute section and you should fill this in - include the vendors name and the date of the transaction.
You should also contact Paypal and explain the situation to them.
I suggest you always pay by credit card through paypal then you can also contact the credit card company too.
This should get you a refund if you can prove the pin is a fake..
Another thing to beware of is people selling pins themselves inside Disneyland or Disneyworld.
It is OK to swap pins but not to sell them (except in an authorised swapmeet.)
Mickey Mouse Snowglobes
Mickey Mouse is certainly the most popular snowglobe in the world.
The first time the public saw snowglobes was at The Paris Exposition at the turn of the 19th Century .
People were delighted by Snowglobes, and some companies strarted making them as souvenirs.
Americans soon picked up the ideas and they began making them too.
One of the first companies to make snowglobes was the Atlas Crystal Works .
Atlas made many snow globes from their factories in Germany and in America .These became popular as souvenirs and as gifts
A Patent was granted in 1927 to Joseph Garaja of Pittsburgh for making snowglobe.
After that Garaja invented a snow globe containing a fish underwater.
This idea caught on quickly.
All kinds of figures charcters and scenes appeared in snowglobes.
As late as the 1940s that snowglobes started being used for advertising purposes with products inside them.
Religious Snow Globes soon appeared with various religious scenes – the most popular of which were nativity scenes.
Plastic Snowglobes appeared in the 1950s
It was revolutionary.
Globes became really cheap to make and the mass market for globes as toys or souvenirs grew to huge proportions.
Disney Started making snowglobes and have produced many globes with their cartoon characters.
Mickey Mouse was of course the main atttraction as numerous snowglobes feature Mickey, Minnie and their pals.
This tradition continues to present day where Characters like Tinkerbell , Snow White and even more recent characters have appeared in their own little world.
For every Christmas J.C. Penney make a commemorative snowglobe with Mickey Mouse.
This is made under license with the date inside and these are very collectable and of high quality.

Snowglobes do need looking after though and as the cheaper ones are filled with water,
non-disney globes often have a problem with bacteria growing inside the globe making it go cloudy.
The only solution to this is to replace the water.
Snowglobes from cheaper suppliers discolour in direct sunlight so the easy way to prevent cloudy water
in your snowglobes is simply to keep them out of direct sunlight.
It really is better to buy an authentic Disney Snowglobe rather than a cheap Far Eastern copy.
